Don’t believe all the reviews on here, we had a fabulous stay at the hotel. Yes it’s a little dated but our room was exceptionally clean (maid service daily) No air con but fans provided and no issues with WiFi in our room. Staff were friendly, polite and extremely helpful. Location is central for everything, only a 20 min walk to train station and bus stop at the top of the road. Supermarket just next door. Area is lovely and peaceful and only a 29 min walk to the centre of Stuttgart. Would definitely stay again.

It was good enough for a one night stay, team station was close by, the Sqaure was a ten min walk so plenty of restaurants and bars nearby, however the light in the bathroom didn’t work, one of the bed lights didn’t work. The bed was comfortable however the wooden bit on the bed was a pain.

The property is older but the room was large for myself and my two daughters. Lovely little deck off the room. Very close to the bus stops for route 42 that would take you down over the hill into Stuttgart and very easy to catch the bus to and from the train station. Staff were friendly and helpful and the area is quiet. There were other restaurants a short walk down the hill if someone didn’t want to take the bus down to the main business/shopping area. We chose to have breakfast included and had plenty of options. Can eat inside or in the small outdoor courtyard. We were only there two nights but we were happy with our stay.

My trip to the hotel will not be a waste of time and effort only if the hotel informs me that the hotel has changed my 2 night reservation to another Astoria. It wasn't far but we got lost because the directions weren't clear and it's our first time in Stuttgart. And with all our luggage and walking around in the heat of the sun, we felt stressed and down.

We reserved the top floor for our family. While it had a lot of beds for us, seemed most windows were in the process of being worked on, therefore not able to open/utilize. The faucet in the bathroom was super loose and wobbly. There was plenty of space for a mini fridge which would have been helpful as there was no access to any kind of cool beverage. They did provide about 4 floor fans which saved our bacon in the 90* summer days. Overall worth the money, esp when traveling with 5 ppl and big rooms are hard to find in Europe.

Hotelzimmer war für unseren Städtetrip ok, da wir nur da schliefen. Dürfte besser geputzt werden. War nicht immer sauber. Hatten an einem Tag kein warmes Wasser zum Duschen. Parkplatz kostete zusätzlich pro Tag 15 Euro, welches im Inserat nicht erwähnt wurde. Frühstück hatten wir nicht dazu gebucht, da wir für unsere Kinder 10J./7J./4J. auch 15,90Euro bezahlt hätten und die nicht so viel Essen. Der Preis dürfte meiner Meinung nach für die Kinder nach Alter angepasst werden. Verbindung ins Zentrum ist super mit dem Bus 42.

absolutely not what was primised

Shower was very ditry. I traveled alone. Instead of the promised nice family pension, I was "stored" in an industrial old building, where teh hotel has rent some rooms. The last renovationwas 30 years ago and so looks like. The matress of the bed was similar old. Nothing for peaple, who have problem with their back.... The picture, I can see in the left semms not to be from my hotel... it was absolutely unconfortable.
