I don't know where this lobby photo was taken, but it surely is not anywhere on this property.
The lobby is very small and cramped. Exhausted customers were draped over every piece of furniture waiting to check in to their rooms. We had a debacle with check in that cost a member of our party $175 to check in since the reservation was not in her name. This despite multiple messages to the hotel providing her name and requesting that she have access to the room.
A room reserved for three adults, with a kitchenette, did not provide enough coffee mugs, glasses, linens or hangers. The furniture looked like it had been picked up off street corners. The location was great for a quick walk to the #6 subway. We were busy tourists and didn't spend much time in our room, in part because it just wasn't comfortable. Oh, and a mystery $30 per night "service charge" was added at check in. What service?
