Nupan Deluxe

Nupan did not coordinate well with our representative from Expedia. We had to cancel our travels due to Covid-19 restrictions but the hotel did not receive communication from our Expedia representative and therefore would not honor an early cancellation, charging us for the full stay despite our being unable to be there.

Great stay at Nupan

Loved our stay at Nupan Deluxe. Very close to the airport and free shuttle to the airport. Excellent friendly service and lots of tips. Room was great for the 4 of us. Lots of ice touches. Excellent value and would definitely stay here again

A warm homely hotel. The owners go out of their way to help. I thought I’d lost my passport and the owner was telephoning taxi companies etc. He couldn’t have been more helpful. I’d definitely recommend Nupan.

Quick stay before flying out

This was a fantastic place to stay for a quick night before flying. I needed to stay close to the airport with transportation to KEF included, and this was perfect. In fact, I would go out of my way to stay here again, the rooms were very comfortable for a single person, and had all the trappings of home in the common areas. The bathrooms were shared, but felt so much more comfortable than individual hotel bathrooms. Within walking distance of restaurants and coffee shops, the proprietor gave us good recommendations for Icelandic food.

We loved this place. The owner/manager was just delightful, willing to help us feel at home inside and out exploring Iceland, even making sure we took the "emergency" number in case we had problems or got lost. I would consider this more of a bed and breakfast than a standard hotel. The beds were great. It was so quiet. There is a lovely kitchen area upstairs that is stocked at all times with non-perishables (and ginger cookies). It was decorated for Christmas when we were there. I hope to go back to Iceland and will definitely stay here again.

I had a wonderful 1 night stay. The room and bathrooms were sparkling clean and the service was amazing. I would highly recommend stay again!

So charming!

So charming! When we arrived, all the rooms were so cute that I had to take photos before we went to bed. (I haven't downloaded photos yet but I will try to add later). You can tell the owners really care about your experience and have gone above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. I don't have anything negative to say. Would definitely recommend and would absolutely stay here again. Very conveniently located near airport if you have early flight out. I wish we arrived in time to soak in the hot tub which closes around 10pm because motor might disturb other guests... understandably. Very nice deck with adjacent shower to rinse off after tub. (They even had a tiny drawer in our room with feminine hygiene products in case you forgot. so thoughtful.)
