Unsafe. I left the hotel
Then please inform the hotel manager that I will contact the German police and tell them that the hotel was trying to make a credit fraud where they wanted to steal my credit card and/or try to make my pay for the hotel twice. This is what happened and this is totally uacceptable.
Please tell your manager that I would like to a file a formal complaint to hotels.com that I felt unsecure at all hotel that you have a partnership with and they did not want to accept the receipts that hotels.com sent me. This a matter of being able to use hotels.com as safe travel partner.
You were unable to live up to this.
They way I see it this is as much a problem for hotels.com given you hotelpartner did not accept the payment sent to me by to the hotel. This is principal fault in your system whether or not the hotel management has done a criminal act.
You have to make sure that this situation does not happen again. I use hotels.com a lot I have a gold membership and I am not sure that I can trust your services if I feel unsafe at a hotel you recommend.
Please pass this complaint on to your management and then I will decide whether or not I can use hotels.com as a safe travel partner in the future.
