Forest Hills Suites, เอร์ราดูรา

A beautiful retreat close to Jaco Beach. Unexpected how grand the accommodations are. The bed was amazing. We slept for 10 hours in cool, silent bliss, and in Costa Rica, that is saying something! The room was large, tastefully decorated, and very clean. The bathroom was huge, with every amenity. Overall, amazing value for the cost! Could easily have spent more than one night here.

Wow. It was fantastic. We work in Central America (traveling) and take time off every week or so to recharge. Our time at Forest Hills Suites was so relaxing. We didn’t leave from the time we got there until 2 days later we left except to go to the grocery store to get food. The B & B has gorgeous architecture, is tastefully furnished, and totally comfortable. They allow you to use the kitchen for minor food prep and there is a grocery store quite close. WiFi is fast, pool is refreshing, landscaping is beautiful, and the staff is great. If you like more of a hearty breakfast, you might need to get a few things at the grocery, as it is truly just a continental (fruit, juice, toast) as advertised. They upgraded us to the “Presidential Suite”, but we had a peek at all of the rooms and they all were great. We would have been happy with any of them We find ourselves in Jaco regularly, and will definitely make this a part of our routine. Lovely.

The location was ideal. Close enough to the beach (only a short drive) but removed enough to have peace and quiet. The property was gorgeous with lush gardens and diverse birds and wildlife. Great amenities as well: beautiful common eating area and unique hand-crafted furniture. However, my one big complaint (this being an older villa) is the smell of moisture in the villa and mold in certain areas. Our room was one the ground floor but we noticed that rooms on the top floor did not have the same problem.
