I got sick my last day of the stay, they were gracious enough to extend the checkout so that I could go straight from the hotel to my flight.

Fabulous gem.

Wonderful hotel at a very reasonable price. Handy for the town. Only slight gripe is that the wifi isn't as strong as it probably should be.

Efficient staff limited choice at breakfast

The staff were helpful and spoke good English. A traditional hotel with good sized rooms which were clean and had all the necessary toiletries. I would have liked in-room kettle for tea/coffee, but not a deal breaker. The location was close to the Old town and centre and easy to get to nearby shops on foot. The only downside was the choice at breakfast was a limited range with not very much out to select from. Also, the use of the internal lights was restricted so the place seemed gloomy.

All bar the music!

Hotel has good location close to centre. Nice rooms, helpful and friendly check in & out. Downside was lack of welcome in bar and lounge area, normally empty with lights turned off! Had to ask hotel to change background music as on 2 of the 3 days it was stuck on repeat with the same song in the background for hours! Otherwise perfectly adequate for a short stay in Podgorica.

Great base to explore Podgorica

A lovely place to stay, a very central local landmark and ideal for seeing the town. We were about 12 minutes' walk from the train station, and it cost us only 10 euros to get to the hotel by pre-booked taxi. Everything was very clean, the room was large and comfortable. There were two armchairs and a side table, a big desk, a security box and so on. We found service to be fine but I think if you're looking for a full-on customer service experience this was not it. We were checked in very efficiently and any questions we had during the trip were answered, but staff did not go out of their way to offer maps, suggestions, ask how things were going, say hello as you walk by etc. I don't mind that but just putting it here so that you're aware if you want a 'home from home' experience. Breakfast was good, there's an omelette bar where you can ask staff to prepare you an omelette of your choice, though we didn't realise that until the second day because noone mentioned it. The usual range of interesting meats, cheeses, yoghurt and so on. Coffee was nice but unusual, possibly UHT milk? There's a nice internet and library room with books in a variety of languages. The PC had a Motenegrin keyboard with letters in a different place to the standard qwerty keyboard so that made for a slightly tricky but fun typing experience, took me ages to work out how to get the @ symbol so that I could log into email.

Walking distance to the railway station and the main sights within the town centre. Room was clean and service was good.

Last stop!

I stayed here on the way home at the end of a long tour - Sarajevo, Dubrovnik and Kotor so did not do a great deal in Podgorica. I found the hotel fine, convenient and comfortable.
