Sea View Beach Hotel

We were there for an overnight before boarding he SV Mandalay. The hotel is older, but clean - nothing extravagant, but perfect for our need. Right on the boardwalk and beach - so location was great. Bed was firmer than what I prefer, but the room accommodated our needs. Would recommend it for those not needing extravagance.

Staff was helpful and friendly except for waitress at breakfast. She was not in the cafe, but in a room, talking to others or on her phone. She hid the coffee in the room and took too long to serve it. Good coffee, though. Staff helpful with directions and carrying bags up steps. No toiletries except for soap - no problem - cheap and good location.

There was no elevator and to reach the front desk it was a hike up 20 steps with your luggage. If your room was on the top floor there was another hike with the luggage. Coffee service stopped at 6:00 Am so they could sell it in the little restaurant ( which was not all that good and slow service) when it opened at 7:30. I guess you were not supposed to drink between 6-7:30

I liked this hotel is right on the beach. Gated from beach and locked at night. Room itself is old and kind of shabby, a little dirty. Wifi free in the lobby but did not work properly during our stay. Only here one night so all in all was ok for one day.

Location was good for traveler. Facility was totally reasonable with comparing fee. However, my family could not get a good sleep. Because Jewelry shop where was in front of Hotel made a lot of warning sound every night during my stay when was Christmas night... It was not hotel responsibility but I cannot recommend.

The air conditioner worked great, the fridge was good to have, & the bed was comfortable. Very clean. Loved the location. Going back to stay next year. The people were the greatest. I loved it!

Pleasant stay by the beach

Very close to beach and shopping. Walking distance to cruise ships. Clean rooms. That could use some updates and maintenance, but very friendly and helpful staff.

Worth your stay and time R. Williams

Customer service was excellent. The lady at the desk did (didnt get her name) her utmost best to accommodate all of us. I must thank you once again. The rooms were clean, the only thing was the tv I could only see cnn channel or maybe was a mistake of mines navigating the remote. Love the service, staff friendly
