At first you walk in the lobby to see how beautiful the design of the hotel was! The cleanliness and style was very on point. As for the service, it was truly disappointing. The person that was originally checking in my husband and I was Arwin. It was sad how ge went about helping us. Most definitely did NOT live up to the standards of a “luxury 5 star” hotel. He was not accommodating what so ever. He explained that it was required to show your passport at check in even though we didn’t receive any type of notice ahead of time. We were only visiting from the US and had checked in other luxury hotels prior to this day without needing our passport. We had our drivers license but that apparently was not sufficient. He did not even consider the fact that my family’s house was 3 hours away. He just ended up telling me that there was no way to check in unless I showed him at least a picture of my passport. RIDICULOUS. As I scrambled to try and look for something close, I found an old passport picture thank GOD. Next staff member I spoke to was way better. Her name was Abegail. She immediately started the check in process and was super understanding about everything. Even said it was fine for my family to just send a picture of my current passport whenever my family could get to it that day-no rush. After stressing so much, my husband already told me he was so disappointed in the service already and how we were treated that we would not be returning.

The Shang!

The customer service is great. Airport pickups and drop Offs were seamless. The room was really spacious and club food/ drinks were great.

The Customer Service is great from Check - in to the Restaurant staff! This hotel is beautiful and it is surrounded by many different restaurants and shops! I love that it’s only walking distance to Market Market. Great place to chill before or after a long trip someplace.

Really a 5 star category. Ideal accomodation for individuals or family. Although if I have to find a fault...and it's just a comment, it would be the buffet dinner's cost.

Want for nothing

Pretty luxurious and amazing experience. Gym was huge with lots of classes (I tried yoga and boxing). Spa, sauna, jacuzzi and pool were impressive. In our rooms, bathrooms were huge and well equipped. Location was great for wandering around. You could want for nothing.
