Hotel La Forge

was there for 2 nights whilst attending an event, did not use any of the facilitiesso it would not be fair to comment on them.

We arrived, after a very long and disrupted drive from the UK at 7.30pm to find the hotel locked up and nobody there to receive us - reception should have been manned between 10am - 8pm. Took half an hour for somebody to arrive and check us in..... Then insisted we pay for our entire stay before we even got our room keys - this is not the normal way of doing hotel business.. Restaurant - closed.. Bar - closed.. Café - closed Couldn't get WIFI in our room. Room was adequate but daily housekeeping definitely suspect and random. The bar/restaurant looked more like a clothing store than a nice place to eat and drink (which we didn't do!) This hotel is well sighted and could attract more custom if the owners ran it as a hotel and not a base for the many other enterprises they seem to be into.. We will definitely be going back to Malmedy - but not staying here...……………..

A functional and comfortable hotel close to the circuit where I travelled to watch the motor racing. Nice local area. Everything needed for a solo stay

Classic car meeting - stayed three nights Breakfast limited but other available locally

Checked in ok in morning, left luggage in room. Returned late at night, left before breakfast.

Very friendly and accomodating staff, very clean and comfortable rooms.

Room in but not clean..old contact lenses left on bed side table from previous guest.

Good situation near centre with parking close, with lift and own key for late access. However room was basic and faded, no coffee making facilities (€1.50 for vending machine on ground floor), breakfast not included. Just 2 hangers in wardrobe. Bathroom functional with good hot water but tired (loo lid was off). Servicing of room erratic and bed certainly not the best experienced. Don't know if other rooms being improved.

Maybe the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. Filthy, mouldy, dusty just yuck. Didn't want to touch anywhere
