Liked being on a quieter part of the island. Free coffee in the lobby was a nice way to start the day. The pillows weren’t great, but front desk gave us extra when we asked, so it was no problem. Rooms aren’t very soundproof, but it didn’t keep us up at night. The restaurant attached to hotel is delicious.

The bus stop is near to the hotel. Harbour view is excellent from the balcony. Staff members are really helpful and service is great. We highly recommend Kimball Terrace Inn Northeast Harbor.

That said, the hotel itself was pretty basic — no standout features or amenities that made it memorable. Loved it! The people were very nice, the room was spacious and clean and it was a nice short walk to the shops & restaurants on Main St. We also ate at the place next door, which was very good. The location is in a beautiful and peaceful area, nice small coastal town. It was great for a little getaway on the island…so worth it and I only live a couple of hours away!

For an older Hotel/Motel very well kept. A bit noisy if you are on 1st floor. Wood structure, you hear the people above you! stay on second floor. Overall area is very safe, and beautyful. PS. Disappointed with the seafood market. It is not commercial like the pictures. Very small and not stocked like a true seafood market. It was true in the old days, not anymore!

Perfect harbor-side hotel

Loved our stay here! We were here for 4 days while exploring Acadia National Park. We had a room with a harbor view and it was definitely worth the extra money. It was so nice to sit on the little deck and watch the boats on the harbor. Room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. Bar Harbor and Acadia are both maybe a 15 minute drive. Nice outdoor pool and beautiful grounds outside the hotel. The only small negative was the bathroom towels are tiny. If we are ever in Maine again, we will definitely stay here!
