College town special, in a bad way
Were told our preferences were not communicated by the third party booking site, but that a king was not available (so how did they know we wanted a king?).
However, I was most disappointed that they gave us an accessible room. I have a parent that requires an accessible room and it is extremely frustrating when hotels are NOT full and give them away.
The room had a strange smell and the windows are locked. There should have been a beautiful view of the lake, but the curtain's draw string was broken. No view.
I wish I had taken more pictures, but the area by the beds had clearly not been cleaned in some time. There was dried rice, candy and other trash under the bed. There was all kinds of hair in the tub.
I am sure it could always be worse, but I was extremely disappointed in this $560 room. Very expensive for what we got. Would not stay here again.
