Das Hotel hat eine sehr ruhige Lage in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Strand. Dort waren wir fast allein. Der Strand ist ein paar Kilometer lang, gut für lange Spaziergänge am Wasser. Das Hotelpersonal war superfreundlich. Im Restaurant konnte man sehr gut essen. Der einzige Wermutstropfen ist, dass die Zimmer sehr hellhörig sind.

Propre et pres de la mer MAIS desertique. Seulement un autre couple de voyageurs dans tout le complexe. Resto / bar ferme a 8h et rien a faire sur le site ou autour. Piscine acceptable MAIS crabes traversent la rue de l'ocean a la piscine car ils aiment l'eau douce. Alors on peut pas se beigner le soir (fait noir a partir de 6h) car on il n'y a pas de lumiere dans la piscine alors on voit pas si crabes ou non. Aussi, mer dangereuse dans ce coin. Doit etre extrement prudent si on se veux se beigner. Coin dersertique... pas de voyageurs autour. On a demander pour un compensation si possible car on a decider de ne pas rester pour un autre soir... rien a faire la pour notre derniere journee au Costa Rica. On devait verifier et me revenir la dessus mais aucune nouvelle. Serveurs et securite = tres gentil mais receptioniste pas tres comprehensive. Elle indique qu'on peut se faire rembourser s'il y a qq chose d'inadequat exemple chambre. A mon avis, on a pas eu pour notre argent si on croit pouvoir se beigner et profiter du bar alors que ce n'est pas possible toute la soiree.

Un lugar tranquilo.

Estadia en el lugar fue buena, restaurante precios super normales, buen servicio al cliente, ubicacion hay que pasar la calle para estar en la playa, y el super mas cercano u otra opcion de comida, esta como a unos 5 a 7km de distancia. Lamentablemente en las noches encienden unas luces que iluminan distinstos colores y son muy molestas ya que las cortinas no son blackout y por ende entra toda la luz a las habitaciones (en el caso nuestro las superiores), por lo demas esta bien, la picina buena temperatura.

Close to beach is about all the good things to say. Large waves not for weak swimmers so my wife would not go in. Toilets backed up repeatedly, reported it before we went out for the day, was told it was fixed and if it continued to happen they would move us to another room but by time we got back after 5pm there was no one at the office to talk too.Room also had mold on the walls in the bathroom and one morning we had no water at all for a while. We ended up leaving two days early and went elsewhere. Went to the restaurant to eat a little after 5 pm and it was closed so decided to go down the street to eat, went got ready to go out after hiking all day and as we were leaving the two workers were opening it up. We said gee we thought you were closed. They told us they were on a break which lasted for a good 1/2 hr or so. All this and you had to drive a couple miles on a dirt road to get there...never again!

Desepcioante Tuve un problema con el personal de seguridad; no termine mi comida en el restaurante del hotel y pedí que me la pusieran para llevar, al día siguiente vi unos perritos callejeros frente a mi habitación y les di de comer, cuando de repente el señor de seguridad me empezó a gritar en inglés (yo no hablo bien ingles) y por lo que entendí andaba gritandome muy fuerte que no le diera de comer a los perros, pero ya me dio miedo quitarles la comida que tal si me gruñian o me mordian, después de que terminaron de comer el señor se hacerco a mi y me empezó a reclamar en inglés y le dije que yo no entendía bien ingles y fue por otra persona que hablaba español esta persona mucho más tranquilo me explico el motivo y pues le pedí disculpas, y el tipo de seguridad se fue caminando y en ese momento seguía refunfuñando y faltando al respeto por lo que le dije que si había entendido la grosería y se regresó a gritarme más a unos 20 cm de mi. Que falta de servicio y de atención tiene, hubiera estado bien mi estadía si no fuese por ese tipo ya después me dieron ganas de irme de ese hotel.

We did not have long to enjoy this property due to our plans. Check in was easy. We were offered a tour of the property but we only needed our room and the restaurant so it was not needed. The property has on-site security, the restaurant was good for both dinner and breakfast, and the pool looked nice but we didn't use.

The property is very secluded on a dirt road and you have basically your own beach! The included breakfast as well as the other food we ate was fantastic! The staff was very nice and friendly. They went out of their way to make sure we were happy! Great resort and we will definitely come back!

Mooi hotel gelegen aan zee. Heerlijk eten Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Rip currents in de zee maar hotel heeft duidelijke uitleg over wanneer er wel een niet gezwommen kan worden. Dit voel is zeer zeker een aanbeveling. We loved it :)

Disappointing

Intermittent water supply and almost no hot water. Absurdly high restaurant and bar prices. Go to the Mar y Sol down the street (which is excellent!). We won't be back.

We stayed for 5 nights in an Ocean View Room with Balcony. I fail to understand all the recent 9+ reviews for this hotel. I have travelled extensively and I am very lenient with ratings because I want to support tourism. This hotel would earn a maximum of 7.0 rating. Pros: 1. Quite Spot 2. Great view 3. Balcon is large and furnished with rattan furniture 4. Staff all speaks English and very friendly. 5. Onsite free laudry service Cons: 1. Building and furniture are all showing age to the point of needing changes immediately. 2. Beach is very muddy and dirty. This may be caused by the rainy season. 3. Food selection is poor, quality is average and overly expensive since everything is marked in USD. 4. The hotel is located in a non-tourist town and far away from all the tour attractions. Jaconis about 1 hour away and Quepos is about 45 minutes away by car. If you don't have a vehicle, you will likely be stuck at the hotel for the entire duration. 5. Wifi signal is extremely poor in rooms and there is no cellphone signal at all. Must drive towards town for about 2km to get celll signal.

We loved it. It’s a small hotel with amazing service and extremely friendly staff that go out of their way to make you feel at home. If you want out of the way, rustic, and on the beach you’ll love this. Big shout out to Anderson, Jason, and Gabriela!! Gorgeous black sand beach with macaws and monkeys all around. What more do you need?

Loved this property! Here are some facts before staying-hotel was down a 4mile gravel road. We thought we took a wrong turn, but no. It is a bit secluded so get things before you get in and get settled. It was the most relaxed we felt in a long time and after doing adventure excursions earlier in the week it was nice to relax. The hotel handled our COVID tests before our flight and also let us know our son left his wallet there-oops. They were great and every staff member we spoke to helped us. Food was excellent and we didn’t even try anywhere else because it was well priced and delicious-plus we weren’t there long. Security guard to let you in and out warned us to be careful out and about if we left. Monkeys all around and flocks of parakeets and parrots. I would definitely go back.

Habitación cómoda, playa cercana y de fácil acceso, lugar seguro. Sin embargo hay aspectos que mejorar, el mismo menú de desayuno todos los días con bebidas con saborizante artificial, poco agradable, WiFi malo en las habitaciones pero bueno en piscina y restaurante, todas las sillas de la playa en mal estado, precios de las comidas en el restaurante elevados.
