the bathroom is awkward, the air conditioning is noisy and you hear everything from the other room

I visited this hotel last year and returned this year. Since last year property is not maintained well. Furniture is failing a part, restaurant walls and ceiling durty. In my room WiFi did not work. Paying $160 plus tax per night is way to high for Panama. Location is great but services a terrible. Staff was trying to help with wifi in the room but nothing happened. My wife is eligible for jubilado discount but front desk person said at check out that I was already charged for the room and nothing can be done. So the bottom line is be prepared for old broken furniture in you room with bad or no wifi, not that good restaurant food, but enjoy the river view.

Great location, very nice facilities and great staff. Restaurant has a large selection with great food.

The power went out several times during the night. This is only an issue, because each time it was restored there were loud beeping “alarms” that woke us up. Otherwise, nice facility, pleasant and helpful staff!

The hotel is located at a beautiful place and is really nice. However, some of the staff hardly understands English, and they don’t always follow through on requests. (I asked for the safe in the room to be opened for my use, and was promised twice someone will take care of this, but that never happened.) Also, the breakfast does not offer many choices. No yogurt, for example.

The place is in good conditions, the bed and the room overall was pretty comfortable. Also the breakfast has a little bit of everything, it is really complete.

Very pleasant room with view of the small river as advertised. Excellent location in Boquete a 10 min walk form town center but away from noise and traffic. An ice machine, a plus, but it is next to the restaurant entrance and not conventionality located from rooms. Restaurant very good with good service and prices similar to other tourist oriented restaurants in town. The hotel ave us a $10 discount on meals at the restaurant, BUT it was not good for the lunch menu, for the rotisserie chicken menu, or happy hour. Read the fine print!

Good location: 9 minute walk from center of downtown but in better area out of the traffic. A little run down, unclear whether due to absentee management or cash flow problems: stained chair, wobbly refrigerator. Nothing that would keep me from staying there again.

Breakfast can be better. Orange juice was artificial and we were surrounded by lot of oranges trees
