Clean tidy, welcoming and helpful staff. Good access to town centre. Repeatedly woken by people coming and going through access door next to room. Overall very nice and would stay there again, hopefully in a different room.

Great location and great breakfast

The Hotel Scheepers is, on the face of it, a pleasant, generally well run hotel. We were encouraged, indeed told, not to pay until the day of our departure. When the moment arrived, hidden extras turned our final invoice into an unacceptable amount. Don't misunderstand me, the hotel was okay, staff pleasant, rooms clean, but my £1300 bill became £1850 in the blink of an eye. For example, I was led to believe that breakfast was included, yet it was charged at £50 per day. This is not a £250 per night hotel by any stretch of the imagination.

We loved the hotel, the staff and the town. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Our room was a family room with 4 twins, it was set up like a king and two bunk beds which allowed everyone a comfortable sleeping arrangement. The town is quaint and looks like there is more to do than our time allowed. The street behind the hotel was quite lively. It is a little hidden from the main street and we didn't realize it was a busy as it is until the next morning. Bonus... the breakfast was delicious and had lots of options.

I stayed at this hotel a couple of years ago and at the time it was a starting to get dated. As it was recently renovated I booked one of the newer rooms for my recent stay. The room we got on the first floor was spotless and the beds were very comfortable. It is very close to the center yet on a quiet street and overall presents a great value for staying in this beautiful town.

Hartelijk ontvangen door de gastvrouw van het hotel. Je krijgt het gevoel dat je welkom bent.

De locatie is geweldig, direct in het centrum, je loopt Valkenburg zo in. Goede parkeergelegenheid bij het hotel. Kamers prima, wel opvallend dat je nog een sleutel krijgt: tegenwoordig is het overal pasje. Gratis ontbijt welke prima verzorgt is.

Hotel scheepers ligt 2 minuten buiten de wat drukkere straat met alle cafe's en restaurants. Wij vonden het heerlijk om na het eten terug te lopen naar het rustige straatje.
