Lovely peaceful hotel

Lovely hotel, very peaceful at night time. Bed was super comfy!! Breakfast was yummy with lots of options Overall a great experience and will definitely be staying again

Great place for a wedding we had a brilliant time. Rooms were fantastic, only criticism was breakfast was cold but otherwise it was perfect

Comfortable and I had a good sleep in a lovely bed which is the main thing. A few niggles though. Menus ordinary, and hot food at lunch was served on a cold plate. Room was extremely hot on entry, and bathroom was stone cold in the morning as I didn't realise the heater switch was among the light switches in the bedroom. Didn't like the wardrobe clothes hangers being attached to the unit (implies I'm in a den of thieves!). Shower screen not secured to the bath side so water went all over the floor (I would expect cleaning staff to pick this up and maintenance to fix it before next guest arrives)

Grounds great staff a let down

Upon arrival we were given our key would have appreciated some kind of welcome and advise on whats around the grounds we were not advised the basics such as where to go for breakfast and dinner both of which we had booked. When it comes to the room can not fault was lovely and well presented. Dinner was also a let down the head waitress asked us where we would like to sit when advised he replied with that is set up for breakfast.... not somthing you want to hear when your paying premium prices for a meal so if your not going to place us where required maybe just show us to a table. The food was nice I had the steak which was perfect however it came with peppercorn sauce a rich mushroom puree and seasoned battered onion would have liked to have somthing that cleansed the pallet such as mint peas just to break up the richness I was also disappointed as this was booked for my vegan sisters birthday treat when booking i was advised confidently that there was vegan options there was one option which was a baked cauliflower which for the price was basically a whole cauliflower with half an onion and a seed and grain mix disappointed to say the least she kept her smile but could see it was disappointing that she didnt have a choice. Overall the stay was nice would just like the staff to remember that this is our first time staying with them rather then just another number so would expect to feel valued and special for such an expensive experience rather then a burden

Perfect find

Absolutely first class. Felt very safe without feeling uncomfortable. The staff were amazing

What I love about the establishment it's very quiet and relaxing. Nothing to hate about this place. We are local customers from Birmingham been here 3 times this year just for the break and the relaxation. I love it x
