EVERYTHING was AMAZING! At first, I was doubting about the shared bathroom but I couldn't beat the price and location. I can't complain at all The bathroom were always clean and available. The whole experience was exceptional. From Destiny at the Front desk, Victor at the pool bar, Marion at Poeta to the housekeeping lady (didn't ask her name). Drinks, food, service, location, value, we don't have anything else but compliments. We'll definitely be back!

I would like to see better coordination between the restaurant and hotel. I really like the high quality radio in the room. Austin has wonderful radio stations and it brings it directly to the the guest.

Check in, sleep, check out was perfect. You are on a bar street so it could possibly be loud for you until 2a unless you are out on the town yourself. We were outside as well so it did not affect us. Overall a great hotel and nice spot with a good selection of food in walking distance. Will be staying again.

cute and updated hotel! nice pool, good restaurant with it. reasonable price. the shared bathrooms of the cabins were not that bad, like i really did not run into people often. the area around the property, just be a bit careful

The room was small, but comfortable, and it was also very clean. Since I had a "cabin", I didn't have an in-room restroom. The ones provided on the floor were clean and private, but it was not great when you had to use them in the middle of the night.

The staff member who checked me in was very nice and accomodating. There is on-site parking (additional fee, but cheaper than street parking), and an elevator for guests. The overall vibe of the hotel is retro/eclectic. I liked the room colors, and some of the fun accents like old stereos. I stayed in a cabin room, and they were very clear and upfront about the fact that those rooms do not have private bathrooms. That information was shared at booking, and at check-in. I had no problem with a shared hallway bathroom, but the bathrooms could've been better maintained. In the shower I used, there was only conditioner available. The shampoo dispenser was empty, and the body wash dispenser was broken (no lever) so there was no way to get it out. The door handles to both the bathroom and hotel room stuck easily, and I had to push down hard, sometimes multiple times to get it to open or close.

I stayed in the Cabins. And it was awesome! The room was sprayed with some type of cologne which was nice to smell upon entering it. It had robes and rubber sandals, but no ironing board or steamer. There was a safe though along with a Bluetooth clock stereo. The bed was more in the soft side but the pillows they had were extra fluffy. The bathrooms are in a shared space in the hallway, they’re are so clean and get cleaned regularly throughout the day. There’s garaged parking that does cost a separate fee but it is gated. There’s a couple restaurants connected to it. And it’s located in a convenient area with plenty bars, restaurants, coffee shops near. Loved it.

I loved everything about my stay at The Cabins at East Austin Hotel! The bathrooms are shared, but they are fully private with locking doors, and each bathroom has a private shower, sink, and commode. They even supply shower slides, robes, and baskets to carry towels and toiletries from your room to and from the bathrooms. It was just like staying in a bedroom in a house with the bathrooms down the hall. The room and bathrooms were spotless, the decor was cute, and everyone I encountered seemed happy to be there. The staff was also so accomdoating and friendly! Shout outs to Andrew, Destiny, Deigo, Abbi, Isabelle, and Miranda!! And to top it off, this hotel's location is perfect. It's conveniently located on 6th street, close enough to walk to downtown bars, restaurants, and venues, but away from the noise for a peaceful night's sleep. They also have a new onsite restaurant, Poeta, that has AMAZING cuisine, and every hotel guest is provided with a $10 daily dining credit voucher. This was such a cool Austin experience! Oh, and if you arent into the shared bathrooms, they have plenty of rooms with en suite bathrooms as well, listed seperately. I will defintely be back in the summer to enjoy their beautiful swimming pool!

Absolutely adorable!! The entire place was great! From the letting me use the pool before check-in to the easy check out. The rooftop bar was great, only made it to the restaurant for a beer while at the pool, but they were great. The $10 coupon for the bar upon check-in is nice. I stayed in a "cabin" on the 3rd floor, luckily only had a bag, because elevator stops at 2nd floor and you have to walk the final flight of stairs. The cabin bathrooms were clean and tidy. My only suggestion would be floor mats in those areas, the floors get pretty slick. Will absolutely stay when Im in town again,and they allow dogs!! Willie Nelson, my Lab, will love it as much as I do!

Lovely little place to stay overnight, helpful, friendly staff! Shared bathrooms with shower, toilets, sink (5 of them). 2 of the bathrooms weren't the cleanest, hair on floor, and pump for body wash didn't work in both the bathrooms. But robes were lovely along with sandals in room, quaint & charming. Would stay again. Close by restaurants, great location! Parking down below in garage is a separate paid charge.

Nice place close to downtown. The staff was nice and helpful. The place had a nice vibe and was very clean. They have shared private bathrooms but it wasn’t an issue. I would stay there again.

The perfect East Austin home base! Spent a birthday weekend at this beautiful boutique spot and loved every second. It’s rare to find a place that feels this serene while being walking distance to everything. Pro-tip: Do not skip the biscuits and coffee at the restaurant! The rooms are cozy and efficient, but more importantly, the entire property is spotless and clearly well-cared for. High vibes and even higher standards.
