"After getting over the scary entry to the car park (narrow entry and steep ramp) our stay was very enjoyable. The staff couldn't do enough to help us, the room was small, but clean and ideal for our 2 night stay, fabulous toiletries and great central location. Close to Alnwick Castle,Alnwick Garden, and Barter Books - all within walking distance of the Plough."

"Beautiful last minute night away ..... hot tubs aren't usually our thing but it was clean, covered and secluded so had a lovely time using it. "Lovely hotel in Alnmouth. Breakfast was AMAZING. Didn’t eat dinner but wish we had, it looked excellent. The room was compact but decorated to a very high standard. Shower was excellent and everything was very clean. Only reason this isn’t a 5 star review is because of the pillows on the bed. They were awful which meant we didn’t sleep very well. Also some odd design flaw in the coffee area. The kettle cord didn’t reach the socket so you had to balance it on the stool. I would stay again though, as the staff were lovely too. But next time I will ask to change the pillows."
