Very friendly and helpful staff comfy bed Not so good points- dark room, tired peeling paint in bathroom, loose door handle (fixed after complaining) Noisy road traffic - earplugs advised

Exactly as website reviews state. Very clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff, good parking and reasonable priced. We would definitely stay again, as well as I would highly recommend this place. Plus we had a really good night’s sleep as the bed was really comfortable.

Stay at the long shoot

Good stay at longshoot Nuneaton, tidy rooms, the outside didn’t quite look as appealing but the rooms very clean, spacious, tidy and smart. Nothing to complain about.

Happy Stay

Overall my stay was a positive experience My only observation, that the room could do with more lighting
charles, 2-night trip

Short stay

Stayed for one night for a family party. Room was small but comfortable and nicely decorated, a bit pricey, as no breakfast was included. Ample free parking.
Lisa, 1-night trip

Douglas, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Nice, but bad sound insulation

A pleasant suprise. Reasonably priced accomondation that has recently been updated and is next to a nice pub with friendly staff. The only downside is the external noise that is easily heard, otherwise fine.
Keith, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

I was a bit concerned when I arrived, as it looked like a motel with access to rooms from the outside. Once inside, though, the room was nice, very clean and had everything I would want. I was on the ground floor, and the window, looking out onto trees, wouldn’t lock so that was a concern as a single female. Breakfast was decent. The staff was outstanding, friendly and helpful. The one thing I must mention, though, is the lack of accessibility. I am disabled, and they were able to give me a ground floor room, which is good as there are no lifts. But the bathtub was very high and I wasn’t able to step into it so couldn’t shower. I don’t know whether there is a more accessible room if you ask, but there is nothing on their website about this. To go to breakfast, you have to enter the pub from a back door, which does not have ramp access so requires going up steps. The front entrance to the pub was locked since they don’t open until 11am. If I had asked they probably would have let me in that way, but walking around to the front of the pub for access is not ideal. To sum up, this is a very nice budget hotel, but not ideal from an accessibility perspective. If accessibility wasn’t an issue for me, this would be a five star review.

My partener loved the room. It was great. Close the the pub as well and quite area. But the room was the best!
Alexandra, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Room was clean and bed was large and very comfy. Also had a bath! Would describe it as a motel rather than a hotel as rooms are accessed from outside the Inn
Yvonne, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Pleasently surprised.

Despite the outer exterior looking a little old and dated, we were greeted to a great room. Spacious and very clean. Check in was very efficient and the staff was welcoming. The room itself was a welcoming space, although the bed was a little too firm for my personal liking. The bathroom was clean, although the water pressure was a little low causing a slow running shower. Breakfast was booked with he stay, and the staff were very welcoming as we entered to restaurant. The buffet breakfast offered a good selection and there was a cooked food option too. The only downside was the coffee, was an instant coffee option, rather than a machine. Overall, a good experience and would stay again.
Andrew, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

We cancelled as the room was dirty with damaged douvet!
Beckie, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Comfortable, clean, good mattress
Christine, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Staff were very friendly and helpful and room was spacious and very clean, the only downside was no air conditioning, just a fan (we were staying during a heatwave).
Elizabeth, 5-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Liked the room being near to restaurant. Bed large and comfy, shower great. It was a great location for Richard III exhibition and Bosworth Field.
Homely atmosphere
Great fish and chips
Ann, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Placed near a very busy road junction with the room having poor sound reduction the night was as little noisy for me.
Arron, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Reminded me of an american style motel. That said it was clean, well-presented and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
Alan, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Acceptable

The room is dated but the bed and pillows were comfortable. It needs better lighting in the room as it is very dull and un inviting plus the desk lamp was not working. With the design of all rooms you do feel like you are staying at a Butlins site. The evening meal in the pub was very good but the breakfast was acceptable but needed to be hotter I stayed one night which is fine but wouldn’t want to stay longer
Paul, 1-night trip

Nice hotel, nice staff. Room nice & clean, slept well!
