Starting with the owner who was very helpful. The quaint and quiet location was ideal for getting to Heathrow Airport. Using bus 442 it was an easy short trip from across the street to Staines and an awesome amount of shopping and entertainment and restaurants. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the location was quiet, and the feel was like a bread and breakfast without the breakfast. Considering the price, location, and quality of stay I highly recommend The Lodge. If you desire a basic accommodation for a great price then make this your stay.

The room and bathroom were clean and nice but the location was not good and not well marked. There was also no parking other than on the grass in front.

Terrible experience. The property owner was extremely rude. I booked a room for my husband, baby, and I. I followed up via email to confirm how many of us would be expected and asked if they had a cot we could use. They responded positively confirming they would have the cot in our room waiting for us. On the day of our booking we were informed that we had booked the wrong room that only accommodates 2 people and he could move our room for the night. By the time we had driven 2 hours to the property we were met by a very angry and rude man that informed us that he would not accommodate us nor refund our money. I understand that I did not book the correct room, but he could have informed me when I emailed that he would not accommodate 3 people in the room I book. Absolutely terrible experience as well as the trauma my 1 year old experienced watching a grown man yell at his mother is unacceptable. Totally unprofessional and very upsetting.
