Before writing this review, I emailed the resort manager. A week later with no response, I decided to provide the email below.
Attention: resort manager
To whom it may concern,
I’m writing to express my disappointment in our recent stay at your resort (29/10-01/11). We stayed in unit 59 - level 2.
We first noticed the unit hadn’t been cleaned properly. The main toilet was still dirty, and the second bedroom had a foul/damp odour coming from it. The kitchen utensils were also in poor condition, with something obviously wrong with the stovetop. It took forty minutes to boil a pot of pasta.
My daughter also woke with bites all over her neck and back (see picture).
We also discovered feaces in the resort pool on Sunday. It was there for hours. Unfortunately, we didn’t realise we had access to resort 1s facilities, until late that afternoon when a resident told us. Very little information was provided to us on check-in.
We came and voiced our concerns on Monday, and whilst reception apologised, little resolution was offered. We ended up checking out early, and leaving that day.
As you can imagine, my children and I were really disappointed.
