Fairfield House - Ayr, แอร์

On arrival there was no one on reception. The ensuite bathroom has a damp smell, there is mould around the bedroom window frame. There was no information pack / leaflet detailing services the hotel could provide e.g room service ,laundry, leisure facilities. The television as just larger than a computer monitor. The room and ensuite bathroom were spacious and the shower was extremely good.

Sovereign suite was amazing we could not fault this hotel ample parking and facilities

Great hotel for the price and amazing breakfast!

There's always something to see or do in Ayrshire, however for us on this occasion, it was to attend the Scottish Airshow on the first weekend of September, so had booked in for two nights at this hotel. It pretty much ticked all the boxes, evening meal was good, breakfast was hearty, and staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a pool in this hotel which appealed, however we didn't have the time to try it due to our other activities that weekend. Our 'executive room' although adequately supplied with TV, tea making facilities, iron, trouser press, and comfy bed, felt quite tired and could have been uplifted with a fresh coat of paint. This is small detail which I am sure the hotel will address in the future, but at the price paid, I feel this should perhaps have already been attended to. Wifi worked in the room and was good, (unlike some places I have stayed where you have to be in the corridor before you get a signal). Parking at the hotel was good, and is within a walled court yard, which gave a warm feeling of security for the vehicle. Would I stay there again, yes, I think I probably would!
