This is an incredible place.
We stayed for one night on our way home to the UK. We'd have been very happy to stay longer.
The owner was charming when he greeted us. Although he only spoke a little English & we a little French, we got along just fine & had a laugh.
The room was lovely. We were in 'Lulu' which is Picasso themed. It was amazing that he & his son built the whole place themselves, including the impressive furniture in the restaurant.
We were particularly impressed with the food, both at dinner & breakfast. Absolutely superb & I have no idea how they did a stunning 3 course dinner for €19.
This hotel was in a very rural area yet close to Verdun & the WW1 sites.
Lovely, thank you.
