Hotel is on small square with shops nearby, away from the noise of the bars, nice to sit outside next to canal. Handy for what we needed, Our room was clean, with kettle & tea/coffee. Staff polite & friendly We used pool once, small for size of hotel, could do with a update, mixed changing rm. Charge for towels, swimwear spinner would be very handy to help remove excess water as only place to dry swimwear is over bath, Sauna was also extra fee. No view from the room to write home about, Room 111 is a lg rm. plenty of sockets either side of bed. Breakfast was the same for 4 days no change at all, would of been nice to have a different pastry on offer. choice of coffee/cold drinks from machine. We would stay again if we needed a bed for the night in Valkenburg... beds singles

Loved it here. Very relaxed. Large rooms and bathroom. Everything I needed. Great breakfast choice.

Like: location and building, Rituals toiletry, cleanliness. Dislike: slipping mattrasses and no choice of 2 single beds or 1 double, weird smell in bathroom, no airco, and screeching chairlegs on floor in breakfast area.

Hotel Walram is a very tourist friendly hotel boasting of a swimming pool and a jacuzzi bathtub in most rooms. Great service and a free sumptuous healthy breakfast every morning.

Staying here for a weekend's walking holiday, I can heartily recommend the Hotel Walram for a chilled out break. The staff were very welcoming and hospitable, the bedrooms well-appointed and in good repair - although to get to our 'Classic Room' did need a fair degree of concentration on the Receptionist's instructions. The Pool is very welcome, especially after a day's hiking in the lovely countryside around Valkenburg, and the breakfast would satisfy the most demanding of tastes (although I would have liked an egg option other than scrambled or boiled - but to be fair I didn't ask if this was available). At the moment, the front of the hotel is being re-modelled as a car park/piazza, so getting to the car park was tricky, but not difficult. Finally, the location is ideal for those wanting to be within easy reach of the town centre (3 mins) or train station (8 mins walk) for day trips to Maastricht etc. I would stay here again without hesitation.

Dit hotel heeft een top locatie! Tegenover het centrum van Valkenburg en op loopafstand van plekken om te wandelen, minigolfen, rodelen etc. Heerlijk verblijf gehad!

Goed hotel, heerlijk centraal! Vriendelijk personeel, goeie bedden en niet te gehorig. Het enige jammere is dat we in de 3 dagen dat we daar waren geen schone koffie/thee kopjes hebben gehad, die we wel gebruikt hadden. Verder helemaal top!
