Great property, helpful staff, exceptional view. I didn’t realize it was a 2-star hotel when I initially booked, but was pleasantly surprised. The pool has an infinity edge, which sounds like a nice fountain throughout the day and night.

Beautiful views overlooking the area, and a fantastic breakfast buffet! Location was a nice for walks into town for meals, etc., and is close to Terra Nostra. Parking at the hotel was a challenge - the lot was small, but the reception deck employee helped us figure out a solution!

Very friendly and attentive staff, good clean amenities, rooms were large and clean. Parking lot can get full, but most part always managed to find a spot no problem. Breakfast wasnt anything too special, but enough to get your day started. Its located at the very end of the street, so it was bit of a walk but I actually liked how private it felt.

Very cute property tucked away on a hill overlooking the town. Easy walking access to everything and the parking was fantastic. For the price we could not have hoped for better.

Parking was a nightmare. No parking spots available and no place to turn around. Had to reverse up a hill with a stick shift car and the road was very small, cars were parked on the hill and with a wall on other side. Had to park down the street a ways away. Non air conditioning room and the phone cord was pulled out of the wall so we had a hard time making reservations.

This is very definitely a two star hotel. The view of the valley was very nice, and the breakfast was pretty good. Parking was free and seemed to be enough for all the guests at the hotel. The Staff was friendly enough. The building did smell heavily of mildew and was very darkly lit. The doors did not have security latches or deadbolts and the rooms lacked both fans to compensate for not having AC. When asking for a full, they will push two twins together, which could be fine, except they didn't put a mattress topper on to tie the two beds together so you can't actually using the bed as a full without it sliding apart. Location was okay, everything was walkable but a touch remote.

We had an excellent stay here. The hotel is convenient. The breakfast is outstanding and the hotel is in walking distance to everything. We went to the mineral pools at night which were fantastic. We also walked around Furnas lake and paid 26 Euros( for two people )to park there and then go to the waterfall hike which was well worth it. We took a cold plunge into the pool at the bottom of the waterfall. It was freezing but so rejuvenating, highly recommend!!! We also took the 20 minute drive to Povoacao and swam at the beach there which we pretty much had to ourselves. Cool beach and cool town. Amazing views along the way

The receptionist Tania was amazing pointing out all excellent places worth visiting. Her personality and humour was definitely the highlight of our stay at the hotel

The concierge was very friendly and helpful in recommending activities and restaurants. The view and outdoor pool were very pleasant. It was easy to walk into the center of town.

Staff were very courteous and accommodating. We were given our room on arrival before the alloted time which was superb as we had been traveling over 24 hours. Room was cleaned daily and smelled wonderfully of citrus. Breakfast was awesome, so much choice . Fresh fruit was plentiful. We were sad to leave here and would return. Hire car is probably a good idea.
