Big room with a decent shower/bathroom. I liked the mini fridge as well which is nice to have for a shooting weekend. Room gets made every day too. Perfect service for the location on camp.

I had a double bed room at the back of St George’s Lodge and to be honest I couldn’t fault it. A small fridge, kettle and tea/coffee Provisions were provided and replenished the next day. Gun safe in the wardrobe is also very handy. The room was clean , warm had hot water and a bath/shower. Over all I had a very enjoyable stay. I dealt with Nick by phone before I got there and he was very helpful. Compliments to the team there.

You don't see anyone just get given a code for the door so hard to comment on the host. The interior is a little dated and the location of the lodges is quite remote and soundproofing is not good as could hear neighbours talking. The shower curtain kept clinging to me when I showered and it wasn't very hot.

Nice clean room with full amenities and on the grounds. Fridge, kettle, shower, bathroom all available. And you get to sleep in an extra 15min because you're on the grounds and can still get to the RO briefing in time. :)

Comfortable, clean and great location

Just staying overnight, found the room spacious and comfortable with everything I needed. Left early the next morning refreshed and ready for my day. A lovely setting and comfortable accommodation - very happy overall

Lovely, quaint little place. Stayed for a Pass Out Parade at the ATC so very convenient. Had a few drinks at the ClubHouse - staff were friendly and welcoming, lovely place!

Unusual style of property which was terrific, nice and quiet around the area. Unfortunately when i stayed the restaurant on the site was closed and there was very little in the immediate area to go for something to eat. Property itself was really good, spacious, clean and peaceful.

Lovely room, friendly staff, breakfast in the cafe was nice aswell. When i booked didn't realise it was a shooting range. But it didn't bother us 1 bit suited us for what we needed, will stay again next time when down that way.

Although a quiet area the lodges need some maintenance! Quiet dated property and room decor. The rooms feel very cold, especially for this time of year. I suppose the price per nght reflects this! Not a "bad" stay, just not the best.

The room was a good size and spotless, however, the walls are very thin and I was kept awake until 2am by two men talking moderately loudly in the room behind my room. Furthermore, the mattress Ned’s changing as it has two long depressions where occupants lay and a high ridge running the length of the bed. The tv was claimed to be ‘smart’ but was really dump, it struggled to get BBC1 and no streaming services were available. Very disappointing.

Difficult to find!

Very hard to find as the post code did not work in my 3 year old car sat nav. When I contacted the owner I was told I had a rubbish sat nav, not what I wanted to hear when I had spent 40 minutes trying to find the lodge. Room was large but tired and bed was comfortable.

Could not find the place I was driving around 2 hours in the dark, Sat nav directions did not work to that address. I was not given a code for key safe and owners were on holiday Eventually after 2 hours of friction and wasted time I got in as a man arrived and helped me . Must give better info - the room itself was fine

This feels like a Victorian Army Barracks as you drive, probably because that’s what it was! Various buildings from sheds and shacks to beautiful verandas. The Lodges are pretty basic and a little tired but clean and comfortable. The LMRA Clubhouse served decent enough food in a canteen style. The grounds are enormous but stick to the paths, or you might get shot!

I booked my stay during 2 hot days of the heat wave. The ceiling fan was wonderful. I had prompt reply to a query before I went and the room and en suite was very clean.
