Logistical supply issues (water)
So, the staff were very nice and offered me a half night refund for the disturbance, but they ran out of water for showers one morning. I understand that is a city wide problem but as a paying guest it must not be my problem. Another morning they ran out of milk for the cappucino machine. This demonstrates that the hotel has logisical supply issues.

Beautiful new hotel with very nice room. I did not like the check in or the service at the restaurant. They require you to scan a QR code to check in or interact with the hotel in any way. QR code for the restaurant menu. QR code for room service. I don't feel like I should be required to fill out an online form and disclose a ton of personal information to simply get a room for a night. I should be able to check in with my passport and my money...and without having to use my phone. The WIFI was also barely usable for most of my stay. If you are not bothered by the above issues, it is a very nice place.

Great New Hotel located in the middle of all the places you want to be. Great staff and the lattes at reception are the best in Colombia! The room was large and spacious. There is a gym, it is small but you can definitely get your sweat on. I will return to this hotel and would recommend to family and friends

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mood Matuna Hotel in beautiful Cartagena, Colombia, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality by the staff, who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. The check-in process was smooth and efficient. The hotel is going through changes and remodeling so it was very noisy in the morning hours. My room was spacious, impeccably clean, modern and simple. The comfortable beds provided a restful night's sleep after a day of exploring the city. The room needed an extra trash can and some shelves in the bathroom for toiletries and clothes. The location of Mood Matuna is perfect for exploring the historic walled city. Many attractions, including the iconic Castillo San Felipe and vibrant Plaza Santo Domingo, are just a short stroll away. The hotel also provided helpful recommendations for local restaurants and activities, which made my trip even more enjoyable. Overall, my stay at Mood Matuna Hotel was nothing short of magical. The combination of excellent service, beautiful accommodations, and prime location makes it an ideal choice for anyone visiting Cartagena. I can’t wait to return to this gem of a hotel on my next trip!

I switched hotels from Bocagrande to here because I wanted to be able to walk everywhere. Its right across from the Centanario Park. 2 blocks from the clock tower and action. The area is pretty safe. The room was great as was the oversized AC unit (which youre gonna need). There isn't a pool at this hotel and it isn't the type of place if youre looking to party. I'd describe it as a more upscale family, or couples, hotel where it's quiet. There are higher end hotels in the area, but it's going to be tough to beat the value of this place at under $100 a night when some of those other options are double the price.

The room was beautiful. Recently remodeled, it is large, modern and well appointed. There are towels, but no wash cloths. The entire room has tile floors, including tne bathroom and shower. The bath and shower becomes EXTREMELY slipper when wet. There are not anti-slip mats or grab bars. Bring rubber shower shoes. A/C works great. There is patio with great street views. Lots of interesting, fun shops in area. Very friendly, very safe.

We were staying at another hotel a short walk away but weren’t happy. We ended up finding the Mood Matuna last minute. Staff were very accommodating, given that we arrived hours before check-in! We were surprised to get an upgrade. The room was huge, with a soaker tub and couch, and had a modern feel to it. The view overlooked the Parque Centenario (where we saw cotton-tipped tamarins and three-toed sloths as we walked through it!). It was a short walk to so many amazing restaurants and shops, and about a 10 min walk to the dock.

The property is new and still under construction as of this writing. The rooms still aren’t numbered and they are still building the 4th & 5th floors. The shower was tiny and leaked horribly but the staff was amazing and the general manager is a very nice person. The room space was great and it’s less than a 10 minute walk to the clock tower. The bed was great and the AC was too. Overall, minus the shower it’s a great place to stay.

Ficamos três diárias no hotel gostamos muito todos os funcionários muito atenciosos a comida espetacular e muito próximo a localização do hotel para as principais atrações turísticas da cidade. Também tinha água quente limpeza todos os dias com troca das toalhas com a certa frequência e tinha um cofre e um frigo bar para nos atender também. para segurança tinha fechadura eletrônica nas portas e um hotel que vê se claramente que passou por uma reforma e que está em condições excelentes para fornecer o que propõe seus clientes.
