I checked in on a Friday and was immediately disappointed. The first thing I noticed was what looked like a blood stain on the sheets. I requested new sheets and was told someone would come, but no one ever did. The toilet was rusted and kept running, which I reported, but it was never addressed.
When we left and returned later that night, the sheets still hadn’t been changed. I contacted the front desk again, only to be told housekeeping had already gone home. Instead of fixing the issue, they simply handed us sheets and left us to change them ourselves — something we couldn’t even do properly because we weren’t sure how to handle the duvet.
The garbage was never picked up, the shower drain cover popped off (a safety hazard that could easily cut someone’s foot), and overall the room just didn’t feel cared for. Most of the staff seemed unhappy and uninterested in helping, with the exception of one lady at the front desk who was kind and professional. Breakfast was mediocre, typical continental breakfast.
On a positive note, the hotel is in a prime location and the room itself had potential, but the lack of customer care and basic maintenance left me very unsatisfied. I expected far better.
