this is a luxurious hotel with a few dozen capsules for the budget-minded traveller. the restaurant on site offers all-you-can-eat buffets, the onsen is quite nice, and it free for guests. the hotel is easy walking distance from the famous Ainu museum.

The room was okay, very dated and felt like it hadn't been cleaned well. There was hair on the tatami. You also have to set your own futon. The only bathing facility is the onsen, which was lovely but could be an issue if you have tattoos. Front desk had an English speaker but using Japanese is easiest.

As a North American traveler, you need to make sure you select a western room that has a shower. Some of the rooms do not have a shower and you need to use the baths. This is a problem if you have a morning flight as the bath not open early enough. It is also a problem if you think you can shower in your own room.

着いた時のフロントの方が説明不足だと思いました。部屋に入ってから、少し戸惑いました。 露天風呂が有ると思っていたのに、窓が閉まっていて、露天風呂とはいえないと思います。 食事は良かった。特に果物の種類が多くて、嬉しかったです。 ただ、蟹の味噌汁が後から取りに行ったら、無くなっていて、残念でした
