Vivian was great at check in. rooms are clean fresh. bedding was comfy. there are plenty of places to eat around. my only wish is that there was a microwave. all of the good food portions, i had plenty of leftover that were hard to warm up. Fyi- the loft area is pretty cool! whoever stays up there should be agile, at least enough to climb ladder. would stay again made new friends too

Horrible room. Felt like a prison cell. VERY damp and musty inside despite the ac running full blast and they had the loud bathroom fan running upon entering so they also are aware. Plumbing was also so loud that it woke me up multiple times throughout the night. The man at the front desk was not pleasant when checking in as he was dealing with someone else who was asking to speak to a manager so I didn’t even bother trying to move. The outside area was also a terrible part of town. Had to catch a flight at 6am and there were drunks and probably drug addicts outside that police were attending to. THE PICTURES ON THE SITE ARE MISLEADING as this was a terribly run down establishment.

We had cold water until the morning we checked out. We had complained about this several times and it took 2 days to correct this issue? Also, the WIFI was not working at all. So much for the free WIFI. On check in, we were asked to pay more money that what we were told was due by Hotels.com. The Staff said the billing department would check into this, but we received no follow up. I believe there is fraud somewhere here, but I cannot prove it. The customer service was initially average. I went to the front desk the last night we were there to obtain some documents and one of the staff was there arguing with a guest that was checking in with the same issue we had on checking in. I don't know what the issue is between Hotels.com and this establishment is, but it needs to be fixed. Until this issue is fixed, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.

What an amazing location hidden in the Old San Juan district. An unusual name, but the amenities and the immersion into the community and the feeling of enjoyment from being there is like no other experience I've had on previous trips to Puerto Rico and I am certain to return to this hotel in the future

Super convenient location, bar across the street, convenience store and liquor across the street The bar “5” across the street has pool table and Jenna games, super cool. All entrances with gate security codes, common area to work and leave suitcase before and after check in/out Very close to port and old San Juan. Read all before you engage in staying at Romeo: This is a conglomerate of companies. Romeo gay is one of them. The first day was great, great approach, customer service, kindness and all. I booked the hotel for 5 days for 2. The second day we asked for hot water because we wanted to shower at night, and the front desk lady was utterly rude to my friend. She neglected him and even told him "the next time he has to do that early in the morning". We didnt get hot water for 3 days. On the morning of the third day, we asked for new towels and some cleaning of the room. We were again neglected. I asked for the hot water for the third time and it was turned on. We didnt get towels until I asked again at night. The guy said: you have to ask for this in advance. On the 4th day, the room has some garbage piled up already, and we were already upset because there was nowhere to put the trash out. We requested room service and again Neglected. My friend left on the 4th day, and I left on the 5th. And man, that was the worst. I was allowed to stay in the property and use the pool and showers until I was not. I went to the beach that morning, and me being polite I asked to use the pool shower to wash myself. A few minutes later I received a text message saying: "You have 5 minutes to leave the property". I honestly couldnt believe what I read. So before you book this hotel be careful, and mindful. I was ok with they forgetting about the hot water, but then no towels, no cleaning
