Great location and close to KEF. Clean and comfortable large rooms. Great restaurant across the street. Be sure and have the fresh fish!

Nice place but so our-of-the-way you’ll waste all the money you saved paying for taxis. No bus service. Proprietor a very nice guy. The air freshener in rhe bathroom triggered my asthma.

Easy to reach from airport and good location for blue lagoon. Host was a very nice Gentleman who couldn’t do enough to ensure our stay was a pleasant one. Nice selection of food and drink at the buffet style breakfast. Rooms could do with a little updating, such as led tv’s, decor & better lighting. Beds very comfy and showers good. We were party of four, 2 adults and 2 teenagers and although we booked a room with 1 double and 2 bunk beds we were pleasantly surprised to be given a 2 room suite. Each with 3 single beds. One with desk and 2 chairs the other with table 3 chairs and a refrigerator. Hallway had place for coats and boots and floors heated. Petrol station and lovely little restaurant all within 5 ministers walk.

Beds were comfortable, room was nice. Laundry service was a plus.

Nice hotel but beds were hard, thought breakfast was included and it wasn’t. Windows were hard to open, no screen windows.

The hotel is near the airport but quite far from Reykjavík. The hotel is relatively quiet but that’s because it is in the middle of no where. There is a local diner but it’s not always open. There is a mini mart a few feet away but with not much variety.

Small motel in a small residential town close to KEF and the Blue Lagoon. Easy access to south Iceland and Reykjavík. Not much around so go to Keflavík city for restaurants. Arrived very late, my key was on a desk for me which was convenient. Room was quaint, outdated decor but comfortable. Beds good. Very clean. The only reason for a lower rating is that the walls are thin and we heard the baby and screaming parents all night on one side but not the family on the other. Price was very good value though. Just bring ear plugs.

Nice motel like place but so far from city, it’s cool for a couple of nights

Best value that I could find in an expensive country. You are paying for a room to sleep in and take a shower in. It does a great job in that regard. The owners are polite and English is not a problem anywhere in the country. They start learning in the third grade and begin it seriously in the 5th. The room was clean and neat. Will need an electrical adapter for Iceland. Soap and shampoo are provided. Small fridge and no microwave, but there is one in a common area behind door #9. Hand and bath towels provided daily. Location is very close to Blue Lagoon, but in a small residential/dock area along the coast. Bonus grocery store a few miles up the road toward the airport. Easy drive to the big city or wherever. Cork floor and probably in-floor heating because no heater is visible. Two thermostats in our room. Warm and cozy at all times. TV made loud noise so didn’t use since we didn’t care anyway. Gas station just a few hundred feet beyond hotel. Good price. Safe area it seemed—although I think that applies to all of Iceland. Never heard one aircraft the whole time at the hotel. Wifi login on the room’s wall.

Easy access, quick check in good location for Keflavík, blue lagoon.
