I have rarely felt less welcome when checking into a hotel.
The young man on the desk, his name tag said Caleb, simply said 'Yes?'
No 'Welcome to The Hyatt' or similar that may have given me the impression I was actually welcome at the hotel.
The room was actually very nice, with lots of room and very clean. It had a fantastic tv in it.
Breakfast the next day was chaotic, there was a large party of, I assume, Chinese people having breakfast taking up all of the tables.
When we eventually found a table it had not been cleared. I went to get some fruit and there was a long line of people filling plastic bags full of fruit.
It was the same situation with bagels and i witnessed a women with 10 to 12 boiled eggs in two bowls.
I was travelling with my 21 year old son who has Autism and learning difficulties who was getting increasingly agitated so we couldn't wait to get out.
I would suggest that the hotel should put staff in the dining area to prevent what was basically theft that prevented other guests from getting the breakfast they paid for,
Check-in and breakfast spolied a nice hotel.
