Pleasant stay

A combined work and leisure trip, the property provided us with exactly what we needed. Decent location (for moving around, not so much for relaxation, considering night-time noise), clean and more than sufficient for our needs.

Je doute vraiment que le ménage ait été fait avant notre arrivée. Je pense qu’ils ont simplement changé les draps de lit et mis des serviettes propres. Pour le reste, les vieilles capsules de café étaient restées dans la machine à café, et pas de capsules de remplacement...il restait une assiette avec des restes de fruits déjà mangés et noyaux dans le frigo., les toilettes étaient sales derrière l’axe du battant de la cuvette. On a dû relaver la vaisselle pour pouvoir l’utiliser. L’égouttoir à vaisselle était dégueulasse...on la pas utilisé du coup....etc propreté 0!...

The property is in a noisy spot on weekends. They only give one roll if toilet paper despite being there for 4 days, no face cloths with towels, had to request hand soap. Could not close the shower door as it opens ‘in’ instead of out. A bit frustrating for spraying the bathroom when showering. Tile floors not good if a glass drops, had to ask for a broom and pan to clean up… Location is good for being a tourist at the waterfront although taxi could not find it… it is a remodeled apartment with a queen bed and a table and two kitchen chairs. There is a mini fridge and a microwave. Not for lounging or relaxing in a nice sofa chair but sleep and go.

Great view, some details missing

The apartment is facing the waterfront -Porto Antico. The view cannot be described and it’s breathtaking in every time of day. Very close to the Old Town. Police is everywhere so you feel safe wherever you are. The apartment itself was clean but the bathroom not super clean - found some remains of hair in the shower. The main reason for my score is that we did not have the towels changed for a 4 day stay. Although I understand that this is a self serving apartment, I find this excessive. The other reason is the toilet paper and I find it difficult to understand why there was only half of a toilet paper roll in the bathroom for a 4 night stay for 2 adults. The check in was late due to the host being late (although the host already contacted us to postpone the check in the first time around). There is also a fee of 50€ if you don’t take out the garbage.

Hade visserligen dagen innan ändrat ankomsttid från 19:00 till 17:00 så dom kanske inte hade förstått det. Fick hur som helst vänta 45 min innan dom kom o släppte in oss. Nyckeln till tvättmaskinen fungerade inte och dom ordnade ingen ny trots påstötningar flera ggr. Avloppet i duschen svämmande över så det ran ut på golvet i toaletten och även genom väggen ut i köket. Dom kom och hällde avloppsrening så det blev lite bättre. På första natten var vattnet helt avstängd, utan förvarning, så vi kunde inte ens använda toaletten för att spola. Dagen efter berättade dom att det var problem i byggnaden och inget dom kunde göra något åt. Samma alla nätter därefter. Fick ha en hink med vatten vi kunde spola. Fick ynka två kaffekapslar var så det räckte inte till en kaffe var varje morgon. Påtalade detta flera ggr men blev helt ignorerad. Någon kompensation för allt var det inte tal om även om vi påtalade att det vore nog på sin plats. Tyvärr kan vi inte säga att vi är speciellt imponerade.
