We were over charged from hotel.com so that was not cool. Then we were not told that the pool was closed until we were checking in. Then, we were not aware of the deposit required, we don't have credit card so used debit which cost us more. Did get back next morning but Lefty's short for enjoying Barrie.

False Fire alarms at 430am the first night and 630am the second night were not welcomed. Not to mention the loss of power from 8pm to 6am the second day (which was due to an ice storm) at which I can’t fault the hotel. Plus I was in the top floor and the elevator was broken both days I was there. I got to know the stairs well between fire alarms and daily activities.

Rough evening
Check in was fine, elevators were not in service, seemed like they were down for a while. We would have stayed elsewhere due to the volume of luggage we had. Power was out for 8 hours no one’s fault but guests were directed to bring chairs into hallway and entertain themselves there. This went on from 9-11pm when they were finally told to party elsewhere. Fire alarm and evacuation at 0615 again no one’s fault but all in all made for a long sleepless night.
