Better with age
Beautiful old house with a great history. A very nice step up from staying in a hotel.

Cherri And Mike were wonderful hosts. The property has a very interesting history, which Cherri enthusiastically shared. It's a 19th century time capsule, with modern conveniences and classic charm. If you like history, you will not be disappointed.

A wonderful stay
All the charm and comfort you could want. The road can be a bit loud but the hosts take steps to minimize the intrusion. An amazing and comfortable experience from beginning to end. I would definitely recommend staying in this lovely home.

A wonderful place to stay!
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Historical John Rast House. The owners have restored this lovely 1875 home with great care. They were happy to share the home’s history as well as their own journey to restore it. Our room, as well as the whole home, was comfortable, clean, and an interesting historic experience. Our stay here was so much more enjoyable than staying in hotels that cost twice as much. We will stay here again!

Lovely place but not restful.
Nice historical home, owned by a friendly couple. Lovely breakfast. Shared bathroom and street noise (a main thoroughfare) was frustrating.

Stopped for one night. Very friendly and hospitable hosts. Property is in very good condition indoors and outdoors. Walkable distance to main street restaurant. Will stop again if will be in the area.

Quaint B&B
This B&B was absolutely awesome. The owner gave us some history on the house and the original owners. Bed was very comfortable and it was very clean. She showed us many artifacts found in the house or donated by one living daughter or found at estate sales. It was very quaint and will stay there again if the opportunity ever comes again.

Mike was an excellent host. Waited up to greet us upon our late arrival. Made a delicious breakfast in the morning for us. Would definitely return next time we are in the area! Thank you Mike 👏👏
