Modern, Clean, Friendly-Staffed Hotel in Milan

The hotel was fabulous. The rooms we were assigned to where all newly rennovated. The rooms were clean and very eco-friendly! If I go back to Milan, I would definitely stay at Hotel XXII Marzo again.

Pros: Cozy and clean room. Comfortable bed and bedding. Nice neighbourhood, a small shopping street close by and nice restaurants. Good for value. Friendly staff, easy check in and out process, reception open at most times. Cons: Bar underneath the hotel which at live music from 9pm-2am most nights, which we heard from our room. The hotel resolved this issue for us at the end.

Staff were nice and friendly. The rooms were quite modern and kept clean. Only issue was the noise at night- the walls were quite thin so we could hear the next door neighbours. Other than that, it was quite pleasant.

The property is newly renovated. The staff is excellent. Yana, Elton and the rest were very accommodating, courteous and helpful. Just a few minutes by tram to Duomo. Definitely recommend this great place to anyone coming to Milan.

The initial room we were allocated was full of mould, all around the window and behind the radiator, the bathroom also had mould in several areas and the extractor fan was unbelievably loud and just appeared to make noise and not extract anything. Although I did tell the staff about this and they moved us to a family room which was much cleaner and in better condition. The bed was really comfy and we were all in all happy with our stay. There was construction going on nearby so it was very loud though this is out of control of the hotel itself. I would recommend staying here for a budget night away, but the mould needs sorting in room 7.
