This is one of the best hotels we stayed in Switzerland. It is close to lucerne, but it is quiet and have convenient free shuttle in front of hotel every 15mins. We parked our car in the property easily. The Breakfast is awesome with a gorgeous view. Get a countryside feeling staying so close to a busy city. Only thing is they don't have A/C or ceiling fan and Switzerland is getting hotter. The Air circulation is good, and we kept the windows open to get cool air. Not sure if that will work in July or August.

Convenient stay on the edge of Lucerne. Rooms clean and well appointed, food was 5-star quality, parking convenient, but you can hop a bus across the street into town and leave the car at the hotel which you should do unless you want to spend the day sharking for parking. The view over Lake Lucerne was great. Parking was super easy. We left our car at the hotel because we didn’t want to deal with parking in town. The bus stop is just across the street and a straight shot to all we wanted to see in Lucerne. The breakfast was amazing. We would definitely stay again. Highly recommended!

Amazing stay we had at Hotel Balm in Meggen. Only one bus ride away from Lucerne main station. Our room is a family size room and it is very spacious. Very clean and quiet. Breakfast Is The Best out of all the hotels we stayed at in Switzerland for 2 weeks. Such generous variety and freshly served. The hotel does not have lift but Our hostess at check in lobby was most helpful with our heavy luggage. I would highly recommend Hotel Balm to anyone visiting Lucerne.
