Only big issue was there was no way to cool off the room which was almost 80 degrees in winter so we had to open the windows. Hotel was empty except for our group. Concierge was responsive before and after our stay.

The Surfside is a very quaint establishment right on the water. It has a small restaurant/bar I did not have a chance to go into, there were complementary bicycles to use as well. The room was decorated simply and very clean!

What a lovely quick one night away. My husband and I just wanted a quick local overnight. We had dinner and drinks at Little Pub and then enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Very clean and comfortable.

We showed up late after a show when they were about to close but the gentleman working took our order, and delivered it to our room. Great food, great service. Such a beautiful little resort. Recently renovated, clean, and comfy. Just bring your swim shoes because the beach is rocky and cuts bare feet. But it is absolutely beautiful!!!

On return, post concert, we had to wade through a flooded road due to significant rainfall. No issue of the hotel, but apparently a problem in that locale as there is a flood measuring post planted roadside, at the end of the seawall. Front desk girl was courteous and efficient. Bartenders were spot-on. All in all, a nice spot.
