When we arrived we learnt that the hotel was overbooked so need to stay another place they provided. So disappointing after 13 hours flight ! But Michele and Mina were so helpful and friendly that they solved the issue and we stayed in a nice room. I must say that they are amazing helping for your trip and more. The location, view and breakfast are incredible ! We will recommend the place to our friends!

Accommodation was good and spacious. Worth getting the superior room with a small kitchenette and private terrace with sun beds and great view.

We stayed for our wedding anniversary, the location is perfect, close enough to the centre and sights, but far enough away that it was peaceful. The views from the rooms are breathtaking... Fantastic breakfast. Definitely recommend the hotel.

The Manager does a great job. A bit tricky to get through map quest but we were very happy with the Room and breakfast was delicious, not only coffee and bread, but full bkfast.

Isoco is well located and close to all the action. The directions we were given were helpful and we had no trouble finding our way there. Mina is the manager. She is lovely, friendly and efficient. She provided us with a welcoming aperitif when we arrived late afternoon. Our room was clean and compact. My wife was horrified, though, to find that we had a detached bathroom that required us to walk across the “public” hallway when we needed to access the toilet or shower. The bathroom was tiny. Fortunately the issue with the bathroom was compensated for by the wonderful view we had from our balcony and I HAD been warned about the detached bathroom at the time I booked on line. I just hadn’t told my wife! Isoco has a number of rooms with ensuite bathrooms. Make clear to them whether you want ensuite or are ok with detached before you book. Breakfast is buffet-style and fine. Mina makes a terrific little omelette on request. Isoco provides a great little roof-top hot-tub and several lounge beds on two large balconies. There are about 40 steps to climb from the street to the front door. Makes it a little awkward when you have suitcases. We were given a tiny parking place for our Fird Focus which resulted in me getting a couple of scratches on the paintwork. They was annoying but I probably have only myself to blame. Isoco is a little worn out. “Shabby chic” is how my wife described it. But it’s good value for Taormina which is a nice place to visit although super busy!

Ett toppenställe med det lilla extra! Fantastiskt hjälpsam ägare och personal. Bra frukost! Det enda som kunde varit bättre är sängen, den var väldigt hård. Vi hade badrum i korridoren utanför men inget problem med det istället balkong och utsikt över havet. Fantastiskt!

My girlfriend and I stayed at Ioco Guesthouse for 10 days. The requirements for our stay were; a decent price, a accessible location, close to the sea and town. The Ioco guesthouse certainly ticked all of those boxes! A soulful and very authentic place, filled with such a wonderful atmosphere and amazing people. It was completely de stressing to be there and the staff were always caring and accommodating. It was so relaxing and 10 days went very fast! We both celebrated our birthdays whilst we were there and we both felt that the atmosphere was so unique and one you can't find in a hotel chain. It was autentic. We met three people who worked there and they were all different from each other. But they had one thing In common. They were all so accommodating, happy, relaxed and it was important for them to give my boyfriend and I the most wonderful vacation. The room we stayed in was also uniquely designed in the same style as the rest of the guesthouse. There were many small cozy places in the hotel were you could just chill and relax. The hotel is near the beautiful town Taormina. We had views of Taormina town and the sea from our balcony. We loved sitting on the balcony with the spa and a glass of wine in hand. We will definitely return to the town, the hotel and the most loving and caring people in the future All in all, an unbelievable experience at a very reasonable price! 1 star more than 10! Sijainti erittäin hyvä, ainoa heikkous, että WC/kylpuhuone käytävän toisella puolella. Aamiainen todella hyvä ja palvelu ystävällistä.

We are a family with 2 teens and were surprised to be allocated rooms with decoration that I felt « provocative » (more than nudes). The receptionist felt our surprise and instead of advising us some places that would suit to our expectations, she suggested a place with only sexual images and décoration. We are all free to think and live the we want but do not need to impose our way of Life. In addition rooms are noisy.
