3night stay in Florence

On arrival the lobby smelt of damp. It is an old building due for some renovation in Oct this year. Pour room was in poor condition overall. The shower curtain was mouldy, the wardrobe door was broken, the walls were badly marked. Mini fridge was dirty, bathroom plug was broken. The safe got jammed and had to be released by the front of house staff. We complained and were moved immediately without quibble to a better room .. thankyou Marco. The hotel is convenient for the train station and is centrally located. However we would not book again.

10-Day Stay at Hotel Corona Strengths: Excellent location, close to the railway station and various tourist attractions (e.g., the Duomo, the Baptistery, San Lorenzo Church). Friendly and welcoming front desk staff. Generous and varied breakfast. Quiet rooms. Weaknesses: Limited access to international TV channels (e.g., BBC, CNN), with brief and unclear instructions. Unreliable Wi-Fi connection (weak signal and frequent interruptions). Insufficient hangers in the wardrobe (only three for a couple). Only one chair provided in a large double room.
