Great hotel and staff. Excellent location for exploring Skye

Overall the hotel offers a high standard of comfort and cleanliness with friendly staff and excellent service. The only drawback was the heat in the hotel in general and our bedroom in particular. Even with the windows wide open all night, my son and I had a very restless and uncomfortable night's sleep. A pity really as otherwise would rate it 5/5.

Booked in Uig as Portree was unavailable for the dates we wanted. Serendipity!!! Uig was full of character and had ties to the ancestors. Such a beautiful place to stay. Steeped in history. Restaurant was busy but nothing felt rushed. Breakfast was huge!!! Skye was amazing. The well stocked pub was comfortable and inviting. Weather was rainy and windy for part of our stay. Not so bad, much like home. Hearing the wind and rain hit the window made the room all the more cozy. We had a beautiful view of the harbour and watched the ferries come and go. Really loved this hotel.

Very helpful in guiding us on where to go. Room was great good food. Loved the packed lunch great idea.

Excellent welcome and service, small, clean room with a beautiful view. Dog-friendly and amazing food.
