We stayed two nights in Nashville at this property. There are signs posted that they are under renovation, but I saw very little evidence of renovations (other than the posted signs and unfinished drywall by the elevator). Our bed was really uncomfortable. The edges of the mattress had a hard edge (the metal frame on the spring mattress), and the middle really sagged. The water in the shower and sink went from hot to cold without warning. Breakfast was very bland. We ate it the first morning, but opted to pay for breakfast the second day at a restaurant. The room was a great size, but everything felt damp. The a/c was noisy. I got a text asking how our stay was going, and when I stated my concerns, the response was “that’s why we are under renovation.” When I looked at the reviews for this property, people mentioned renovations from 6 months ago. One would expect to see some improvements after that amount of time, but there weren’t any that were evident. Maybe some rooms are improved and ours hadn’t been updated yet? It just seemed odd that the signs said one thing and the conditions said another. It was disappointing for a Hilton property. We’ve stayed at nicer hotels in downtown Chicago for a much better price.
