The checkin process was friendly and quick. However, we were surprised to find that we could not take an elevator to our room on the second floor. We had a lot of stuff and two dogs and one had to be carried up the steps. The front desk mentioned there were a few stairs but it was not clear that this would affect our ability to get to our room, plus there were about 6-7 steps.
The buffet was a disappointment but my husband does not agree. Of special note, because of the dogs, we had to eat separately. My husband was greeted by the waitress and served coffee etc. When I arrived, the waitress said "you know this card (for the buffet) is only good for one day" ...since we were only staying one night, I don’t know why she said this to me. She walked away, and that was it, no service. The eggs and sausage was bland, and other items in the hot tray area were messed up and not tended to.
My husband especially liked the hot tub.
