住宿環境整潔清幽安靜，公交車基本在西湖及酒店附近都有站，交通四通八達，浴室用品是我用開的意大利品牌加分。房間有酒店附贈的小禮物很窩心（應該是惠州特產） 高層景色各有特色，湖景古色古香，安靚恬逸，江景一帶五光十色，眺望江北一帶繁華景象。 但自助早餐沒有太多選擇；房卡也只有一張，如果兩人一房其中一人出去會比較麻煩，因為要用房卡使用電梯，房間沒房卡就斷電；環境雖清幽，如果喜歡行街及吃喝就要走10分鐘內去步行街附近。

Good hotel for business traveler

Last time I came to Huizhou, i stayed in Renaissance hotel. The price is about the same, actually Renaissance is better. But a good thing about Kande is that you can browse google using the wifi here. maybe there is automatic VPN or something. It is very convenient for business traveler.

坐落惠州西湖旁，在房中已可盡覽西湖美景。早餐選擇較多，質量還好。顧客服務比較細緻，晚上看完演唱會回房時看到放了牛奶，寫了心意卡，挺暖心的感覺，但我們三人給兩盒奶這點可再改進。 酒店距離步行街和美食街挺近，食喝買也方便。

Pros: Super friendly staff. Great location to visit Westlake. Very nice room and comfortable bed. Had a delicious meal at the italian restaurant at the hotel. Satisfying chinese/western breakfast buffet. Cons: Pool was too cold and hot tub was empty. Friday 4 pm Italian dinner: Three of our choice menu items were unavailable. I got soup, then dessert, then main course, then cocktail (slow friendly service). Saturday 7 pm dinner during busy Qing Ming chinese holiday: hostess told us no tables were availabe when we could plainly see many vacant tables. We thought perhaps the buffett menu is not favored by westerners and kitchen was too busy to cook regular menu items. Hostess is probably used to westerners being dissatisfied at the buffett. We did get a table. Buffett was OK. We should have grab a very affordable cab to eat elsewhere. Verdict: I would stay here again, but eat dinners elsewhere.
