A hotel should not get a free pass just because of its brand recognition or location, each hotel has to provide excellent service to earn that reputation. At this hotel, the staff was not friendly to the right level, they were not welcoming or giving a vibe of wanting to make customers feel comfortable and welcome, They were basically indifferent. And the hotel room was a bit shabby overall, a cabinet door was off its hinges, plumbing was poor, etc. Mattress was not super comfortable either.
