No one there to give access to the property at 8PM after we had booked the room. The exterior lights off, front door locked, made us feel very unsafe! The hotel hung up on me three times while trying to access the property, therefore we had to find another hotel for the night! Now they will not refund our money. Very unfair! Do not stay there!!

It was charming and comfortable and close to the beach, but there is no elevator and the stairs are steep. It would be a problem for elderly people.

Nice Old Inn

Quiet weekend away. Inn is very nice, but, close to road (slots of road noise) and no TV in room. So, if you like old inns it is great. If you are expecting a typical hotel environment, not so much. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was minimal.

Manager was friendly and helpful. Building was 340 years old, yet in good shape. Close to the beach and tourist areas.

Colonial Sea Town Inn

A lovely characterful colonial sea town inn. Exceptionally well preserved , exceptionally clean and comfortable. It is one of the best places to stay if you are in Old Orchard Beach.

The owners were very friendly and accommodating! The location is superb. Lots of snacks available at no charge. Room was very clean and had a refrigerator. Nice front porch to sit on. Best deal on Old Orchard Beach!

Not quite for us

We realized this was an old inn when we booked, but upon arrival realized it was a bit more dated than we liked. We are a 34&40 yr old couple. The bathroom was spotless and seemed like the room could use another vacuum, otherwise room was very clean. We didn’t realize there was no tv. We were also very disappointed with Old Orchard Beach’s lack of mask wearing walking down to beach and restaurant (this is of course NO fault of the hotel!).

Not what we expected but a great stay

I’m never one to leave a review but I feel like I need to about this place. We had no idea that we booked 2 nights at a bed and breakfast and had never been to one, so when we first walked in we thought it was really weird and maybe... haunted. Lizzie Borden vibes. The house is from the 1700’s. There are no TVs in the rooms. Not gonna lie, I was disappointed and went back to the booking website to make sure I was at the same place that I read all those great reviews about. We decided to make the best of it and go explore. Couldn’t ask for a better location- We walked down the strip checking out the shops and got a drink & appetizers at a couple different restaurants on the pier. When we returned to the Inn, (which we were now referring to as “the house” because that’s what it is; a big old house) we did have a laptop to watch a movie on but we were so tired and the bed was so comfortable- we were asleep within 10 minutes. By the morning we had no doubts about staying the next night. We stayed in room #5 which had a king size bed, refrigerator, and a table with two chairs. There is no microwave in the room but there’s one in the common area to heat up your leftovers late night as well as a keurig coffee station with all the fixings. The whole place was incredibly clean. The shower was hot. There were two other guests at the house during our stay and we never saw or heard them- it was very quiet, especially for an old house. The breakfast was just a continental breakfast-
