The hotel is situated near the Shinagawa Station, so it was very convenient to travel around Tokyo. Furthermore, there are a lot of shopping malls and eatery around the hotel and make shopping and eating very easy.

Walking distance from hotel to Shinagawa JR Station is relatively easy as it is a down hill slope. However the reverse direction is not really true for traveler with larger luggage. A good choice for light traveler who reach Haneda Airport later in the evening. The nearby 7-11 is “hidden” the the basement of the opposite Prince Hotel, but hotel staff who speak good English easily guide you to the right direction.

Very convenient location, shinagawa station is within walking distance. Airport bus stop is at the opposite grand prince hotel if going to narita airport. There is a direct train going from shinagawa to haneda airport. Room is small but acceptable.

Very quiet. Room was very small for 3 people. Nice toiletries and shower.

The date of checked out, I asked for the taxi service from hotel to 大崎站. The staff told me the price is 820 yen per taxi which come out of 3280 yen in total. The distance between hotel and 大崎站 is 1.4 km which less than one mile. So, I think the taxi price is really reasonable and affordable. Once the 2:00 pm up, all drivers are waiting for us in front of the hotel and they are very kindly. It took about 10-12 minutes from hotel to 大崎站 which not too bad for 1.4km. Once we arrived the bus station, each drivers told us different price which one driver asked for 2060 yen, one driver asked for 2230 yen, one driver asked for 2070 and the other driver asked for 1780 yen. For all 4 taxis which costed more than eight thousand that way much than the price hotel told me. If I knew the price of taxi service costed more than 8000 yen, I would NOT take taxi and just take subway. Between hotel and 大崎站 is less than one mile and took 10-12 minutes drive only that cost more than eight thousand yen is way too expensive. I am so disappointed because the price hotel staff told me and the drivers asked me are different and too expensive.

Room is small but overall is comfortable and everything is provided for in a hotel room. Enjoyed our stay.

Quite place in shinagawa.

My family and I missed the last Hikari Shinkansen back to Osaka so we decided to stay overnight and Shinagawa Tobu Hotel was the top recommended hotel for the area. We enjoyed our stay, it was clean and had all the amenities that you would need. We highly recommend!

Pillows are very old and uncomfortable. Tea kettle didn’t work and we were only provided with two green tea bags for our two days stay.

It’s a safe location. Easy for us to access meeting point (Grand Prince New Takanawa) for Mt Fuji day tour. Housekeeping is great as our room was done neat and tidy daily. We will stay here again when visiting Tokyo.
