Radisson Blu Resort, Malta St. Julian's

Excellent, just old furniture and not really in good condition. Need to be in more good condition

We were offered an upgrade to a superior rooms which we accepted. On arrival our room was a let down to say the least, the room and terrace were covered in dust. The furnishings were all in poor condition, the bed was fine, bathroom good apart from the bottom of the door was rotting away. We went next door to our daughters room which again was not cleaned the furnishings were better, it looked to be in the process of being updated. After a not very pleasant discussion with reception the upgrade fees were refunded. The serving staff on the whole did there best but lacked direction, one evening we had three different people trying to open a bottle of wine. Breakfast was good with plenty of Choice, We had the open buffet in the evening three times, good apart from the last evening, the selection of dishes seemed to have dropped, not good. I feel management do not do enough to mentor the staff, rooms and public areas were not very clean, toilets very seldom had hand towels available. The last point i would make is, the heating in the rooms could not be turned off, guests were asking for fans, the terrace door could be opened, the downside was we had a few days of gale force winds. We were never approached by any of the management team to asked if we were enjoying our stay, we were there for ten nights. This hotel is not to Radisson standard.

We stayed at the Radisson blue for two nights. Very nice hotel. We had a sea view room. We ate at the breakfast buffet which was fabulous. Beds were comfortable. Nice size room.

Amazing place to stay in Malta. Great food and spa.

The hotel has a feel of the 1990s about it. Old duvets and peeling wood veneer. Just all a bit cheesy. Very few people staying as it was down season. Stains on the hall carpets. We were told by other guests that it I should to be knocked down and turned into a casino. Shame it has a nice location.

Great place. Would be great if the hotel itself had a constant dinner service. They did have one buffet which was great but @€34 per head

The team looked after us well, especially Raymond and Carl and the whole management team were very friendly and resolved any issues calmly a nd politely.
