It’s not fancy - but I don’t like and didn’t want that - I prefer places with history over run to the mill, drywalled compartment rooms. the staff was friendly, check in and out was simple, the room was perfect for me - clean, cozy, comfortable bed. The location is great - not directly in the quarter so it was pretty quiet and walkable. If I’m in Nola again, I would definitely return to this hotel.

I recently stayed at this vintage boutique hotel, and it was a total delight. Tucked away on a quiet street, the hotel had a faded elegance that made me feel at home right away. Directly behind Frenchmen Street, it is within walking distance of some of the best jazz spots and a few good eateries.

Excellent stay with one concern- The Back Door

The property was well maintained, the staff was polite, the bed was very comfortable and we were in walking distance to everything fun in the French Quarter. My only complaint was the back property entrance-exit door which was slamming at all hours of the night. I asked if we could be moved, however we were told that the property was sold out for the weekend and we could not be accommodated. I recommend this place as long as you’re not staying in the back of the property as you will be woken all night if that door issue isn’t resolved.

Anniversary trip to NOLA.

Our first time visiting New Orleans and it will definitely will not be my last. Lamothe house hotel was beautiful. The hotel is kept very well for a vintage building and the area is full of history. Our suite was great, clean and spacious. The courthouse was amazing. I want to give big props to Ms. Carol who helped us immensely when we arrive. She’s was very polite and helpful. I’mso happy I chose this hotel. Thank you for everything.

The hotel is so quaint and quiet. I loved the historic look of the rooms. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The cleaning lady was so nice and Ms. Carol and the other guy up front were so welcoming. I will stay there again in the future!

Amazing staff and gorgeous hotel

An absolutely lovely hotel. The room was very spacious and air conditioned. The staff went above and beyond expectations with their helpfulness - we cannot thank Palestine Riles enough! We would recommend this hotel to everyone - it is situated in the French district and very close to Frenchmen Street where we enjoyed many music sessions and lovely food. Thank you for everything!
