Good location by the restaurants in South Street Seaport and the Brooklyn Bridge. Great price. Convenient and fairly cheap parking for Manhattan. Free breakfast of the variety and quality you'd expect of a free breakfast, though it's a very small breakfast room that can't fit all the people that are trying to have breakfast - lots of elbowing around. However, between the pounding of footsteps above us, hotel doors in the hallway that are designed to slam loudly by default, and the traffic outside, we didn't get a solid sleep in any of the three nights we were there. Our room was initially on the first floor 10 feet from the lobby, which was extremely loud and disruptive at night, especially with slamming doors. But they did nicely move us to a room on the third floor upon request, which was a little better but still had thin ceilings where we could hear pounding feet above and the doors of our neighbors still slammed when closing.

Usual Hampton Inn service in a great location in the Seaport area of NYC. Easy walking distance of nearest Subway, Battery Park, Wall St & WTC. Some nice eateries in the local vicinity as well. The only criticism is the breakfast seating area which is very cramped!

The mattress was a little soft. The towels were a little thin and you could be a little more generous with the pillows. The staff was friendly (particularly Sandrea) and helpful. I would definitely stay at this location again. I agree with the reviews of others on Trip Advisor that the street noise was disturbing.
