Pros: This is beautifully situated. The views from the pool area are superb, and quite magically catch great light for both sunrise and sunset. Sitting poolside with my feet in the pool watching the red hued rocks as the sun set was wonderful. The rooms are also pretty cozy. And the front office staff were professional and kind.
Cons: There's a sense of this place being held together by the seams. A few things not working. Each time I was in the front office, someone had a legit complaint about something. Annoying that even though it wasn't full, they seemed to give us the room with the least view possible. Worst was the restaurant, where they took our order, then the manager asked us, about 45 mins later, what we ordered, went away, and realized it was never entered. They owned up to the error, but never actually *apologized* for it, and wasted 45 mins of our time.
On balance, that view would bring me back, but they really should stop skating on the view, and should try to work out the few nasty kinks in the system.
